Observe how this particular species on this certain planet drifting in a defined pattern in the cosmos seeks a more particular way of distinguishing itself from other species on the planet. Observe how within this particular species there is a tendency to distinguish one animal from another in a certain fashion so that there is no mistake about who the person is you have encountered. Observe how there is a need for some people to make it known that they are an individual and worth reckoning with in themselves as a unique individual and not just part of the whole. Observe that one of the ways to do this is to put oneself on a plane that is higher than another and that this is easier to do if one distinguishes and separates into groups. Observe that the easiest way to distinguish ones group from anotheris geographical location, ethnicity, race, language, nationality, personal habitation and of course physical characteristics. Observe that from a young age people are taught or weaned into recognizing these patterns in other persons and children and they begin to make separations in their mind based on fear and the unknown. Observe that from the unwillingness to explore the unknown in different persons and instead relying on stereotypical perceptions comes the tendency to turn fear into violence and hatred. Observe that one of the earliest methods for distinguishing oneself from another group and cementing oneself into their group further is the art form of name calling. Such as ... Go ahead and call me names I will call you names too You got a name for me I got another name for you If we are presented with this problem from all sides Here is one way that i know we can turn the tide Call me names long enough and i will cease to hear All i am really hearing is your face hiding fear If there is one lesson you can learn from this today Listen to what you feel and not what you say Observe. Call me names!

I don't want to be alone tonight Maybe just one night I heard about it something in the air Transmissions transmission transfer the message over and over Repeat and transmit beat down the noise Raise the signal to my mind my mind receiving the levels Amplify re-justification phase through the wavelengths Tell me how to read my thoughts Invade my brain-case dense unrepentant Overconfident so I've been told so I've been told Once closed up now open exposed to the limits Time dimensional shifting shine becoming energy Thousands and thousands and millions of electron volts Refracting upwards toward the stars Through the strands in my hair Focusing lines of bright scintillating Emotional refuse and garbage Panning for transient happiness Gold specks in a universe of loneliness Can you detect my reasoning detect my reasoning polish the surface Gleaming and smooth blinding no imperfections Ice old like a cold sheet of ice cold sheet of ice impenetrable Demonstrate your act of kindness Jackhammer my life through cracks in my soul Guess I didn't see that spot The love that you make is equal to the love you're taking If you're breaking

Only Fair 06:56
Ask yourself what you need Do you need someone to care? Do you need somebody to be with? I think that it's only fair To tell me what you need So ask me if I care Do you want somebody to be with? It's gotta be only fair Decide exactly what you need And who you need and where Do you need somebody to be with? I think that it's only fair Do you even have a need To be with anyone anywhere? Do you really want someone to be with? I think that it's only fair What would you do if I left you? Would you even notice that I left? This maddening indecision Is working me to death
